Seerat Seminar

COAVS managed a seerat seminar in main auditorium Renowned Islamic scholar and motivational speaker soban attari delivered talks on the topic "Islam is a religion of peace and sympathy" .Medical professionals relating to eye care were in the audience. The speaker emphasised that Islam promotes tolerance and adviced doctors to consider kindness as an essential part of their job. Pakistan currently has more than 2 million eye patients and timely intervention can avert 80% of all kind of eye related diseases .COAVS has already done two free eye camps with Soban Atttari, among needy students of seminaries,where medical consultation, vision glasses and medicines were given without any cost.
At the end HOD thanked, appreciated and endorsed the points raised by honourable guest of honour soban attari and shared that since start COAVS, in collaboration with several NGOs has been managing free medical facilities to patients.
The College is working for eradication of blindness in the country through Human Resource Development in Ophthalmology by training Doctors, Nurses, Allied Eye Care. The department will continue to manage such seminars to cater the development needs of medical professionals.
